Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Law, or equivalent by experience
  • 3+ years of tax experience in an international accounting firm or in the tax function of a multinational company in the areas of taxation
  • Understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Good understanding of taxes (Income tax, Transfer Pricing or VAT)
  • Familiarity with current and deferred tax accounting concepts
  • Some level of familiarity with tax digitization requirements such as SAFT in Poland or similar concepts abroad is a plus
  • Certified Tax Advisor (in progress) will be an additional asset
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Good knowledge of SAP would be beneficial
  • Ability to quickly learn other software and computer applications
  • Fluent local language (Polish) and English is a must

Responsibilities:

You would become a part of Country Central Finance Team and cover tax area in line with the new operating model, ensuring robust daily operations, assisting to the CCF Tax Team Leader with tax compliance responsibilities, as well as contribute in identification and implementation of the process efficiency and effectiveness. The position covers compliance to the local tax legislation and US
GAAP tax accounting rules with more detailed description of tasks below. The position also entails support in the ongoing process streamlining in line with the Global Operations model.

You will:

  • Assist to theTax Team Leader in coordination of the tax accounting and tax compliance of entities in scope (preparation/coordination of preparation of tax returns, SAFT reporting, tax payments and cash tax outflow forecast to insure the entities are compliant in the area of CIT, VAT, WHT, excise tax and other local taxes)
  • Prepare/assist in preparation of transfer pricing documentation and other required activities
  • Prepare/assist in preparation of MDR reporting
  • Assist in coordination of the tax audits, implementation of required changes introduced by the tax legislation in Poland and potentially by EU
  • Support CCF Tax Team Leader in implementation of tax digitalization projects, process improvement and standardization initiatives in the tax area (SAFT, e-invoicing)
  • Assist in implementation of central tax projects in Poland initiated by EMEA and Global Tax
  • Cooperate with other Finance Teams on the tax related matters
  • Ensure there is adequate documentation of tax process maps, tax procedures and roles & responsibilities is in place
