Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in R&D environment, including managerial experience
• Master's / PhD degree degree in a technological, mechanical engineering, physics, software or a related
• Good initiative for new product/concept development, keeping update on global product trend & marketing demand
• Fluent in English communication (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Very strong leadership skills + proactive and creative approach
• Very good problem solving and decision making

Responsibilities:

• Translating and communicating the vision and strategy of company to an innovation and product development plan for execution
• Develop R&D Department strategy and methods & procedures for monitoring projects
• Create SOP procedures which related to R&D
• Plans and formulates aspects of research and development proposals
• Lead the organization of product development, new product introductions as well as existing product improvement to ensure that products meet customer expectations
• Evaluates the potential and practicality of products in development
• Study and search all info related to new product concept and to keep update on global trends
• Securing and controlling R&D cost according to the budget for timely and quality reporting
• Ensure the department's goals and objectives are met
• Provide proper coaching to the subordinates at proper basis and need
