EMEA Logistics Manager Ref. No: 7212

For our Client - international company - we are looking for candidates for a position of: EMEA Logistics Manager.

Region: Kraków, małopolskie


Requirements:

  • Master in logistics major in logistics
  • Minimum 8 years experience and excellent track record in a global industrial company in the area of materials, procurement, logistics, trade compliance and aviation security
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing transportation and logistics supplier strategies
  • Experience in a factory and distribution centre environment
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of EU and no-EU import/ export operations
  • Knowledge in Hazardous Material handling and regulatory requirements
  • Extensive project management experience, including proven track record of successfully handling international projects
  • Strong organisational skills and goal orientation with the ability to meet targets and deadlines successfully
  • Excellent managerial skills to negotiate and execute
  • Leadership qualities in a multinational and multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent verbal and written English and communicative German


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all transportation/logistics related services in the EMEA region and service providers
  • Responsible for goal setting and goal achievements in the Logistics organisation to meet operational and compliance goals
  • Responsible for Trade Compliance, Aviation Security, Dangerous Goods transportation compliance
  • Lead and supervise logistics teams
  • Collaborate with the regional transportation and logistics leaders to develop common operational processes and establish a supplier management process to ensure best in class logistics practices
  • Ensure EMEA regional requirements for logistics solutions are captured and implemented in global initiatives
  • Identify operational and process deficiencies, and drive import/export compliance procedures at each of the EMEA sites to ensure compliance objectives are achieved
  • Support business strategy with data analysis and operational expertise
  • Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities for EMEA logistics operations
  • Act as a focal point for all EMEA logistics and trade operations
  • Communicate and coordinate across all levels of the organisation to drive efficiency improvements and ensure compliance in our logistics operations
