Requirements:

• Understanding of testing methodologies and their application, including UAT and System Testing
• Is able to use necessary tools to debug problems with the software
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of software testing techniques
• Good understanding of continuous Integration by using Jenkins or Bamboo
• Java programming skills
• Working Knowledge of:
  • Selenium APIs
  • Git
  • Maven
  • BDD (Cucumber or Jbehave)
  • Spring (basic)
  • JavaScript
  • REST WebServices
• Cross-platform testing experience (desktop and mobile browsers)
• Is able to identify which tests should be automated in the test pyramid

Responsibilities:

• Work within the Quality Assurance team to test new functionality, as well as regression testing a multitude of different software applications
• Develop new tests using Java/Selenium/AngularJS/Ember
• Testing web/mobile applications 
• Converse directly with the Business and IT teams to ensure suitable understanding of requirements and required test coverage
• Raise and manage any defects identified throughout the software development life cycle
• Contribute to the IG Group Quality Assurance strategy
• Work as part of an Agile/Scrum development team
• Cooperate with UX team to make sure designs are implemented correctly
