Requirements:

• Master or Diploma in Engineering Chemistry or Materials Science (Polymer Technology)
• Several years of professional experience in the field of material development (specifically RPA equipment on EPDM)
• Experience in an international company desirable
• Flexibility for a wide range of tasks
• Solid PC skills (MS Office)
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Independent and structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team, assertiveness, self-motivation

Responsibilities:

• Material definition and development to produce functional prototypes out of EPDM: Running-in and optimizing the processes in combination with the product design and the injection molding material
• Material analysis and characterization of thermoset materials (EPDM, Silicones & Epoxy) for cable accessories
• Quality assurance and documentation tests for dimensions, mechanical and electrical parameters
• Evaluation, documentation and presentation of the development tasks in a global development team.
• Creation of technical documentation and evaluations
• Interdisciplinary cooperation in a global development team and with suppliers
