Requirements

• Experience of BI report development, visual reports, KPI scorecards and dashboards
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data
• Analytical thinking and storytelling to translate data into informative reports and visuals
• DAX query experience, and advanced level calculations
• Experience in PowerBI workspace administration
• Experience in the design methodology of PowerBI to pre-create datasets that hide the complexity of the data model
• Configuration and management of PowerBI tenants, including licence management, capacity management and sizing
• Multi-stakeholder management skills
• A results-oriented mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for data
• Confident and concise communication skills, articulating technical features to non-technical users

Responsibilities

• Being specialist technical resource who is an expert in PowerBI development and has strong knowledge of PowerBI administration
• Acting as an expert resource who helps empower business users to use PowerBI
• Developing specific training courses and demonstrations of new or key features in PowerBI
• Helping to own the licence process to allocate specific feature licences
• Acting as the technical contact for the software vendor
• Building prototype solutions to help analytical teams demonstrate the tools capability
• Working with the PO to create user stories with agreed definition of done
