What we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Business Informatics
• Professional finance certifications (ACCA, CMA, Bilanzbuchhalter) or relevant courses will be a plus
• Very good English and German (B2+)
• Expertise in RTR, reconciliations, period-end closing
• Understanding of controlling and financial steering (cost allocation, budgeting, reporting) will be a plus
• Project management experience in finance, process optimization, or ERP/SAP projects will be a plus
• Advanced SAP skills
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
• Communication and presentation skills

What you will do:

 

• Ensure accurate and compliant financial accounting and reporting processes in SAP, in line with IFRS/GAAP standards.
• Execute and oversee month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, allocations, and financial reporting.
• Act as a trusted advisor on accounting treatment during organizational changes (e.g. mergers, spin-offs, restructurings).
• Support and coordinate budgeting and planning processes from an accounting perspective.
• Maintain and improve internal accounting processes, data quality, and system integrity in SAP.
• Lead and support projects such as system migrations, implementations, and process enhancements.
• Translate business and accounting requirements into SAP solutions in collaboration with IT.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and service level agreements.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation within accounting operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, procurement, customer/vendor management, IT) to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide guidance, training, and support on accounting processes and systems.
