Requirements:

  • Experienced leader in change and transformation coming from a global business within a GBS environment
  • Track record of delivery of significant changes to processes, technology and ways of working that delivered value to the business and increased efficiency and effectiveness of GBS organisation
  • Understanding how new technologies (RPA, IA, AI, best of breed solutions) can be applied to improve processes, elevate customer experience and drive cost to serve down
  • Experienced in identifying transformation opportunities, process redesign and applying innovative and creative solutions to legacy issues
  • Advanced communication skills, with a strong ability to influence others and track record of delivering culture change
  • Analytical, methodical and commercially astute with ability to use data and insights to accurately inform investment decisions
  • Good initiative and follow through skills – gets things done on time, with attention to detail, and in a well-organised fashion
  • Understanding how people go through a change and the change process
  • Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies across a portfolio of complex transformation programmes.
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, able to work effectively at all levels and have strong stakeholder management skills
  • Energetic and assertive, collaborative, resilient and motivated by challenges  
  • Comfortable with ambiguity


About The Role:

The Head of Change and Transformation will be responsible for:

Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and maintain Change and Transformation strategy for GBS globally in line with the overall company and GBS goals, whilst being flexible to accommodate changing business needs
  • Align GBS leaders and stakeholders around change and transformation strategy, drive engagement, senior leadership sponsorship, coach and enable other leaders to deliver change efforts
  • Ensure collaboration between GBS Centres and partners to deliver transformation agenda
  • Champion digital innovation and transformation that enhances customer experience and delivers efficiency, effectiveness and simplification

Methodology:

  • Set up and implement change and transformation methodology for GBS
  • Set up and manage success factors and KPIs for change and transformation programmes

Portfolio management:

  • Create and manage a portfolio of transformation opportunities that deliver new value and enhance results provided by GBS
  • Be accountable for generating incremental cost savings, efficiencies and new sources of value
  • Manage delivery of value and targets setting for change and transformation programmes

Learning and Development:

  • Build the right change and transformation capabilities by supporting learning and personal development of GBS employees,       
  • Working with HR Business Partner, set the GBS training and development programmes
  • Deliver Training and Learning programmes led from GBS to the business
  • Maintain learning curriculum for GBS

Deliver transformation and embed change:

  • Deliver global complex transformation programmes
  • Manage and deliver Transition plan of any change and transformation scope coming to the GBS
  • Facilitate alignment of resources needed to deliver the expected outcomes in and outside of GBS
  • Mobilize and engage the Change Network

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Nurture Continuous Improvement mindset and reward right behaviours  
  • Encourage teams to create and build new solutions to improve quality of service
  • Champion digital innovation to transform the way people work and improve experience of customers using services of GBS centres

Build and manage a team

  • Oversee and participate in selection, interview, hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Build a strong, positive, engaged and motivated team with excellent expertise in the change and transformation area, which is willing to challenge current thinking, identify opportunities, and foster intelligent risk taking to evolve GBS to meet emerging needs
  • Coach and develop talent
  • Manage a growing team of about 10 change and transformation specialist across the globe
