For our Client, the company which invests and provides support and best practices to software companies, we are looking for the Candidates to join newly created financial center in Cracow : 

Region: Kraków, małopolskie


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a similar leadership role within a finance shared services center or a similar finance function
  • In-depth knowledge of finance processes, systems, and best practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and financial controls
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team, driving a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and technology, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to finance operations
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize individual and team productivity and development
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance shared services center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services and support to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and implement standardized finance processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Continuously improve and streamline finance operations, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation initiatives, leveraging technology and digital tools to optimize finance operations
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of the shared services center, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, providing timely and accurate financial information, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and other related activities
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in finance shared services, and proactively incorporate relevant changes into the operations
  • Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and assist in the resolution of audit findings and recommendations
