Region: Kraków, małopolskie
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
Proven experience (10+ years) in a similar leadership role within a finance shared services center or a similar finance function
In-depth knowledge of finance processes, systems, and best practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and financial controls
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team, driving a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions
Advanced proficiency in financial systems and technology, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to finance operations
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize individual and team productivity and development
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance shared services center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services and support to internal stakeholders
Develop and implement standardized finance processes, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
Continuously improve and streamline finance operations, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation initiatives, leveraging technology and digital tools to optimize finance operations
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of the shared services center, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, providing timely and accurate financial information, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and other related activities
Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in finance shared services, and proactively incorporate relevant changes into the operations
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and assist in the resolution of audit findings and recommendations
