Requirements:

 

  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive electronics or e-mobility (hardware)
  • Fluency in English 
  • Solid foundation in embedded hardware systems
  • Experience applying structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of AIAG/VDA FMEA and ISO 26262 is an advantage
  • Ability to think both strategically (big picture) and with attention to detail

 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze stakeholder and customer hardware requirements, translating them into detailed product specifications, design solutions, and compliance test strategies
  • Decompose requirements into architectural blocks, I/O interfaces, and system-level design specifications
  • Collaborate within a multicultural, cross-functional team developing advanced automotive powertrain electronics for battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles
  • Allocate and align requirements across Hardware Electronics, Mechanical, Validation, and Manufacturing engineering teams
  • Create and maintain the Product Definition Document (PDD) and manage engineering change processes
  • Define and develop requirements for embedded test software
  • Develop and execute functional test plans, including hardware test setups and test benches
  • Perform functional hardware testing at the bench level
  • Provide technical support for environmental and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) validation activities
  • Support manufacturing sites in implementing production changes and improvements
  • Assist in customer testing and validation programs
  • Participate in structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
