ECAD Engineer (PCB) Ref. No: 8140

You will be responsible for the layout of Printed Circuit Boards for different type of Power Electronics products.  This is an exciting job driven by innovations in the electronics industry and changing environmental legislation.  The company is developing powertrain systems with most major European as well as several Asian and American vehicle manufacturers.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Analytical ability and attention to details
• Ability to quickly adapt to frequent design changes while layout is in work
• PC Literate: MS Office
• Previous experience using Mentor Xpedition is a plus
• Good communication skills are essential
• Good Level of English is required

Responsibilities:

• Design of quality PCB layout according to corporate design standards
• Assist in developing and maintaining ECAD system and CAD libraries to meet project requirements
• Generate and release documentation for circuit board and assemblies, and manage the ECAD repositories
• Interaction with project team members and PCB vendors
• Technical lead for ECAD applications and provide application support / training to all users
• Provide User Acceptance Test for new software, if required
• Identify area of improvements to increase ECAD productivity and efficiency, including training needs
• Adhere to company policy and work environment
