Our Client is an international engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company operating in the renewable energy sector. They specialize in large-scale energy storage systems and solar projects. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering, a position crucial to our mission of sustainable energy solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields
  • Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience in solar and/or energy storage projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  • Proven expertise in photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage projects, and renewable power plant design
  • Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD and PV performance modeling software (e.g., PVSyst)
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international engineering regulations, power system installation, and design
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to develop team members and foster their growth
  • Excellent time management, capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • A collaborative approach to problem-solving, thriving in a dynamic and team-oriented environment


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all project engineering stages, from initial design to construction, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and customer requirements
  • Lead technical planning, prepare contract documentation, and manage design reviews
  • Prepare and standardize technical documentation for quoting processes and ensure consistency across projects
  • Recruit, train, and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team
  • Establish and implement engineering metrics, processes, and tools to ensure optimal project execution
  • Act as the technical authority, representing the engineering team in discussions with management, clients, and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain partnerships with engineering firms in active markets to strengthen project delivery capabilities
