Chemical Analyst Ref. No: 7421

For our Client - international company - we are looking for candidates for a position of: Chemical Analyst.

Region: Kraków, małopolskie

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Material Science from an accredited university/college
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a technical role is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience in a global / multinational environment
  • Fluent English
  • Strong technical skills
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Listens effectively and clarifies information as needed
  • Ability to address customer inquiries in real-time
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Knowledge of and ability to competently use Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be able to work effectively within a team to achieve assigned goals
  • Prioritize and organize effectively to maximize productivity
  • Self-motivated with sound time-management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Upload chemical information in Client software
  • Research chemicals in various chemical databases
  • Contact customers to get clarification on the chemicals they requested chemical assessments
  • Support Sales team to send product samples, chemical charts and leaflets to customers
  • Work closely with Chemical Guardian team to ensure the correctness of chemical information in the requests submitted
  • Report any software issues to the IT Guardian team and make sure they are addressed immediately
  • Participate in quarterly meetings to interact directly with Sales and learn about new opportunities that need support
  • Suggests improvements to optimise the process and increase customer satisfaction
  • On occasion, they may be required to visit high-value end users and/or channel partners to support the sales team on more complex chemical protection assessments / discussions
