What do you need to have?

• The previous  experience in IT Procurement related function
• Very good knowledge on IT contracts, terms and regulations, legal aspects etc.
• Good IT knowledge and overview about current IT technologies
• Very good English and German skills
• Knowledge of Windows applications and Procurement related tools will be an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly independent

What will you be responsible for?

• Planning and executing procurement/ sourcing activities for Lufthansa Group companies
• Leading tactical procurement activities for various types of IT services (software, hardware, consulting, maintenance, application operation and standard licenses)
• Providing negotiations with the international vendors
• Managing of worldwide tender processes
• Analyzing and comparing competing proposals, preparing vendor selection decisions
• Finalizing  contracts in cooperation with the  legal department
• Providing demanding  analysis with business and/or IT departments
